Great work by the lads today at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. One of our goals as a club has always been to be a part of our community in as many positive ways as we can.

The Greater Chicago Food Depository distributes food through their network of partner agencies and programs, including mobile distributions and responses for children, older adults and veterans.

Most food is distributed across soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries and mobile food distribution across the Chicago area.

It wasn’t to be today but very proud of these lads and their efforts not just this weekend but all year. They’re a credit to this club and to the GAA.

They won a Chicago Championship and supported some incredible causes across Chicago all year, raised a huge amount of money for those causes and donated their time to multiple other charities.

A North American medal would have been nice to add to the collection, but nothing should make these lads prouder than saying they’re a part of this club.
